day 20: what you think makes someone beautiful

 

We’re really doing this? Ok. I’ll play along. I think it’s people who treat other people well, who hold the door for you, who give up their seat on the bus. People who are smart enough not to let the world’s nonsense get to them and mess with their priorities. People who laugh easily, often, at themselves, instead of crying. People who plant flowers on their balconies, in their windows, in the little scrubby patch of dirt in front of their house. People who look out for their neighbours, who bother asking their names, who say hello on the sidewalk. People who try to make your day even a tiny bit better, and to leave things better than they found them.
